Amsterdam Amnesia is Dutch Passion’s name for the classic, old Amsterdam Cannabis Cup winner Amnesia Haze. Amsterdam Amnesia is a sativa-dominant strain of connoisseur quality yet with commercially-appealing yields.
Unless growers are fortunate to reside in warmer climate regions this is primarily a plant for indoor cultivation. Plenty of headroom is required indoors as these plants undergo a lot of stretch during flowering. If this is likely to be an issue, but you still want to grow this strain, then it is advised to give them as short a period of vegetative growth as is feasible, no more than a couple of weeks or so. Flowering lasts for 9 – 10 weeks after which large yields of buds that are more dense and compact than the norm for sativa plants. the leaf to bud ratio is very good making trimming a simple affair and also allowing plenty of light to reach interior bud site during florescence. Amsterdam Amnesia is well-know for its very good resistance to spider mites.
The perfume and taste of the cured buds is lemon/citrus. THC content is very high at 20 – 25% and its effect is wonderfully euphoric, energising and uplifting although novice consumer should take some care and proceed with caution.
